Having to lose your home, the safety, your family, and all your belongings and then suddenly finding yourself in a new land can be something really scary, especially for young children. Being a refugee is not easy. They need a place of safe refuge where they can learn and develop themselves. 

Unfortunately, there are a rising number of exploitation cases with Syrian kids; they are falling prey to sexual abuse and forced labour. To curb this, Cinta Syria Malaysia and the team on the ground believes that education is crucial to provide true protection and a long term solution for the refugee kids. Instead of a one off small donations, we invest in building them for a better tomorrow.  

Our aim is to create future leaders with substantial personality that  could  later  help  these  children  to  lead  their  nation. A very important point to note is that education  helps  save  the  kids  from  espousing  radical  ideology  on extremism  that may take root within  some  refugee  communities. All of these ideas are part of our school syllabus specially tailored for refugee children. 

Our school in  Jordan  (SK1) and Turkey  (SK2)  focuses on informal education, where  the  students will learn basic knowledge on reading, writing and counting. Studying in Sekolah KITA (SK) will influence  the children  to develop a healthy self identity. Many of our students’  parents  were  thankful for  the  school,  because  it  didn’t just  benefit their  children, but also them. They can learn how to read, write and count as well.
