The Story

According to the United Nations Refugee Agency, over 10 million people in the world are considered stateless. Of these 10 million, more than a third belong to the Rohingya diaspora. Identity, education, and financial stability are the 3 key factors hindering Rohingyan stability.
0% of the Rohingya are educated. This is the stark reality, for even saying 1% of the Rohingya are educated, would mean 14,000 on an average can read and write. This is impossible to find.
The targeted beneficiaries are the Rohingya refugees. In Malaysia alone, there are over an estimated 150,000 first, second, and third generation stateless Rohingya (including those original refugees who were forced to flee Myanmar and their children and grandchildren). These Rohingya are scattered across the country in every state except for East Peninsular Malaysia, and centered mainly around Kuala Lumpur, Perak and Penang.
The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to educate and provide adequate training for the Rohingya refugees. This will lay the foundations for an economic and social future for our brothers and sisters.

Fund Usage

Over the past years, GlobalSadaqah has supported and helped many campaigns raising funds for educating and training Rohingya refugees.

Donations to this campaign will be used to educate young Rohingya children and provide training for other Rohingya refugees.
