Since 1948, Palestinians have suffered from endless war. Prolonged conflict and occupation are directly impacting the livelihoods of 2.4 million Palestinians and denying them safety and access to essential services, such as health care, safe drinking water and education.
Over 30% of Palestinians suffer from food insecurity and in Gaza, the number jumps up to over 60%. Children in the region are bearing the brunt of the conflict, with as many as half of them dependent on humanitarian assistance and one in four in need of psychological support.
In the midst of this crisis, many children have been orphaned. Many of these orphan children are too young to even look after themselves. Palestine is deteriorating with each passing year, We urge you to support as much as you can so our brother and sisters in Palestine can fight against hunger.
There are many ways to help our brothers and sisters in Palestine. We make dua for them and try to help them as and when possible. But we need to come forward and make sure that they never have to go hungry. They should also get the chance to forget their sorrows and make the most out of Eid. Our charity partners, Rumah Zakat will be arranging special aid packages for orphaned children.
Our donors have the unique opportunity to directly help their brothers and sisters on the ground by providing food packs in one of the most holiest sites in the world.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The best of deeds is making the believer happy, such as covering his ‘awrah, satisfying his hunger or meeting his need.” [Tabarani]
