Campaign Story

For seven long years, Yemen has suffered the horrors of war. Even after two years of fragile truce, famine looms, and hunger deepens. Millions are left wondering where their next meal will come from, while the economic collapse has made food an impossible luxury for many.

60% of Yemen’s population—17 million people—are starving. Among them, 2.2 million innocent children are severely malnourished.

This Ramadan, you can change that. Through our “Sedekah Ramadan” campaign, we are delivering hot Iftar meals to Yemen’s most vulnerable—orphans, single mothers, refugees, and war-affected families.

For just MYR17, you can feed a fasting soul and earn immeasurable rewards from Allah.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
Whoever gives Iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.

This is your chance to restore hope, bring a moment of relief, and share in the blessings of Ramadan.

Every RM17 provides a meal of Arabic rice and chicken to a hungry family.

Beneficiaries: Single mothers, orphans, refugees, internally displaced families, and war-affected individuals.

URGENT UPDATE

Update: Yemen Bakery Project in Zabid

Since 2017, our bakery in Zabid has provided fresh bread daily to hundreds of families affected by war, poverty, and hunger. It has always been run by our own trusted volunteers and staff on the ground.

Due to recent government changes in Yemen, specifically in Zabid (Houthi territory), payments can no longer be made to individuals. All transactions must now go through a registered NGO as part of new counter-terrorism regulations.

To comply with these rules and continue the bakery’s operations, we are in the process of partnering with a registered NGO in Yemen. Once this is finalised, the bakery will resume operations as normal.

We remain committed to this project and to serving the people of Zabid. Thank you for your continued support — this bakery has existed because of you, and with your help, it will continue.
