Campaign Story

For over 30 years, PEKA YATIM in Kelantan has been a haven for orphaned children, offering them shelter, care, and the chance at a better future. These are children who have lost not just parents, but stability, support, and often, hope.

Today, with rising costs and increasing needs, PEKA YATIM is launching Projek Resmi Budi — a long-term campaign to strengthen the lives of orphans and underprivileged families through education, welfare, and spiritual development.

Phase 1: Tahfiz & Discipline focuses on building the hearts and habits of young children by providing structured Quran memorisation, spiritual reflection, and character training.

We’re starting small but meaningful — with 10–20 students, 1–2 qualified teachers, and a tailored tahfiz programme that tracks memorisation progress and instils Islamic values and discipline. Regular social media updates will document their journey and inspire community support.

Projek Resmi Budi is a 3-phase initiative crafted to nurture well-rounded, resilient youth at PEKA YATIM. Phase 1 begins with spiritual growth through tahfiz and discipline. Phase 2 will equip them with essential life skills, including archery and self-defence. Phase 3 focuses on upgrading and maintaining facilities to create a safe and empowering environment for their development. Together, these phases aim to build a generation that is Quranic, skilled, and confident.
