In the quiet villages of Padang Terap, Kedah — tucked near the Thailand border — Eid often comes and goes without the scent of grilled meat or the joy of a shared meal.
Most families here depend on rubber tapping and odd jobs, scraping by on inconsistent incomes deeply tied to the weather. The rain stops work. Dry spells reduce latex. Even when the conditions are perfect, latex prices are too low to sustain a family.
While cities bustle with Qurbani celebrations, many of these villagers have never had the means to perform — or even benefit from — this act of worship.
But this Eid al-Adha, you can change that.
For the second year, Iltizam Relief is stepping in to revive the spirit of Qurbani in the neglected corners of Padang Terap. Your sacrifice will not only provide fresh meat to poor households — it will restore dignity, hope, and the joy of Eid to families who have long been left behind.
