Flood Relief Campaign: Rebuilding Lives in Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Sabah and Sarawak.
The recent devastating flood has affected the livelihood and well-being of many Malaysians, especially on the east coast, Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah and more recently Sabah & Sarawak leaving them to evacuate their homes that were submerged in deadly floodwaters. The incident has also caused damage to transportation links, and thousands of acres of agricultural land.
Recognising the plight of those affected, Alliance Bank Berhad, Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad and the Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA) are committed to providing immediate and long-term aid.
The Flood Relief Fundraising campaign is an extension of Alliance Bank’s assistance programme, specifically designed to alleviate the emotional and financial burden on the families and businesses impacted by the devastating flood.
We are reaching out to compassionate individuals like you to help us provide immediate relief and support the long recovery journey for these affected communities. The Bank will match every RM1 donated with RM2 through this crowdfunding initiative of up to RM250k. Your contributions will directly fund the following initiatives:
Immediate Flood Relief
- Provide emergency essentials such as food, clean water, and medical supplies.
- Delivering vital aid, including hygiene, bedding, dignity kits and baby kits
Post Flood Relief
- Restore homes and basic infrastructure that have been damaged or destroyed
- Offer support to flood victims by assisting with home clean-up, providing school aid, carrying out minor repairs, performing electrical maintenance, and delivering medical and health assistance.
