This campaign represents Phase 09 of the Qur’an Waqf Project. Hundreds of people have gifted a copy on behalf of their loved ones via this campaign.
The Campaign
Every year, millions of Muslims travel to Makkah with one purpose: to worship Allah at His Sacred House. Many of them spend long hours in Masjid al-Ḥaram reciting the Qur’an, reflecting upon its verses, and seeking closeness to their Lord. In 2024 alone, more than 16.9 million Muslims performed ʿUmrah, and in 2025 the number exceeded 19.5 million pilgrims. Among these worshippers are people from every corner of the world — each carrying hopes, prayers, and hearts longing for the words of Allah.
Imagine if even a small portion of them opened and recited from a Qur’an that you had donated.
Every verse read from that copy becomes a light in their hearts and a continuous stream of reward recorded for you. Long after Ramadan or even after our lifetimes, that Qur’an may still rest on the shelves of Masjid al-Ḥaram, opened by worshippers day after day.
Through this campaign, you have the opportunity to dedicate a Qur’an as a Waqf in the Sacred Mosque. Your contribution places a copy directly into the hands of worshippers who come to pray, reflect, and recite the words of Allah in the holiest place on earth.
To ensure the integrity of this effort, all Qur’ans are distributed through our trusted partners Dawah Corner Bookstore (DCB), in coordination with the official Mushaf Management authority of Masjid al-Ḥaram. This ensures every copy follows strict placement protocols within the mosque.
Unlike unofficial donations that may be removed, these Qur’ans are formally approved and maintained within the mosque, remaining accessible to worshippers for years to come.
A single Qur’an may be opened hundreds or even thousands of times by pilgrims from around the world. Each recitation, each reflection, and each tear shed over its verses can become part of your scale of deeds. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will receive one good deed, and a good deed is multiplied ten times. I do not say that Alif-Lām-Mīm is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lām is a letter, and Mīm is a letter.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhī)
And he ﷺ also said, “Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like the one who does it.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
By gifting a Qur’an in Masjid al-Ḥaram, you help guide millions of hearts toward the words of Allah — while securing ongoing reward for yourself. Donating a Qur’an is a form of ongoing charity and beneficial knowledge, allowing the reward of recitation to continue long after the initial act of giving.
