Campaign Story

FELCRA has dedicated a place of learning where members of their community and the less privileged (B40 group) have a training ground to develop skill sets relevant to the needs of industry, particularly farming and business. They offer pre-diploma, certificate and diploma level courses.

Close to 70% of Kolej FELCRA’s student population come from the lower income B40 group. At least 5% are from the Orang Asli (indigenous people) community.

Kolej FELCRA has a dedicated fund pool where they provide financial support for the under-privileged group or the B40, covering study fees, accommodation and also food allowance. This is to ensure as many students as possible graduate - and upon employment, they are able to give back to the college in various ways.

There are no sponsorships for pre-diploma and certificate level studies. Due to rising costs of living, the college is trying to source funds to ease the students' burden.

There are currently 305 active students pursuing their studies at the college. 21 students are currently self-funding their Early Childhood certificate-level programme, scheduled for 1 year and 6 months including the practical training.

A growing number of their alumni have gone on to acquire employment in their respective industries or set up their own businesses.

Start by planting seeds of growth today and reap the fruits of labor after time! Your effort will not affect a single person alone, rather to become a stepping stone for others to come.

Will you help them complete their future?

The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing. [Surah al-Baqarah, 261]
