Provide Eid Al-Adha sacrificial meat to displaced families across Gaza Strip.
Over 1.6 million people in Gaza are experiencing acute food insecurity. Thousands of children are suffering from severe malnutrition.
For families in Gaza, Eid no longer feels like Eid. As Eid Al-Adha approaches, displaced families across Gaza continue to endure unimaginable hardship caused by war, displacement, and the collapse of basic living conditions. Homes have been destroyed, livelihoods lost, and access to food has become critically limited.
Today, Gaza faces one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world. Humanitarian reports indicate that approximately 1.6 million people are suffering from acute food insecurity. Nearly 31,000 children are facing acute malnutrition, while hundreds of deaths linked to famine and hunger have already been recorded, including children who simply did not have enough food to survive.
For many parents, the daily question is no longer what to cook — but whether there will be anything to eat at all.
Meat, once associated with family gatherings and celebration during Eid, has become almost impossible to access for displaced families struggling to survive. This is where your Qurban becomes more than a sacrifice. It becomes nourishment for hungry children. Relief for exhausted parents. Dignity for families who have lost almost everything. Through this campaign, sacrificial meat will be supplied and distributed to displaced families across Gaza through carefully coordinated humanitarian channels. The meat is professionally sourced, inspected, packaged, and distributed under veterinary and health supervision to ensure safe and nutritious food reaches those most in need during Eid Al-Adha. Distribution will prioritise displaced families living in shelters and camps, women-headed households, elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, and children at risk of malnutrition.
How Does The Meat Reach Gaza?
Due to the severe humanitarian restrictions and collapse of food infrastructure inside Gaza, the Qurban cattle are slaughtered and processed externally in India under controlled and Shariah-compliant conditions before being canned with broth for safe humanitarian delivery. The canned meat is then transported into Gaza through coordinated aid channels such as the Red Crescent, ensuring displaced families receive safe, nutritious, and long-lasting food assistance despite the ongoing crisis.
Each Qurban share consists of approximately 19 to 22 cans of beef meat with broth, carefully prepared for humanitarian distribution. Every can weighs 800g, containing 500g of meat and 300g of nutritious broth, with a total estimated weight of 15–18kg per share. To ensure safe delivery under the current humanitarian restrictions, the meat is imported and transported through coordinated Red Crescent aid channels, with local receiving, on-ground distribution, and field documentation carried out inside Gaza to ensure transparency, accountability, and proper delivery to displaced families.
Even if you have already fulfilled your Qurban elsewhere, you can still contribute towards feeding families in Gaza and helping them experience a moment of relief during one of the darkest periods in their lives. For many families, this may be the only nutritious food they receive during Eid.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “The best of deeds is making a believer happy, such as satisfying his hunger or fulfilling his need.” [Tabarani]
