Campaign Story
On September 11, 2023, Eastern Libya was struck by a catastrophic flood, that shattered dams and swept away entire neighborhoods, leaving widespread devastation in its wake. According to authorities, the Derna city bore the brunt of this deluge, with whole neighborhoods disappearing beneath the relentless floodwaters.
The ongoing catastrophe has already claimed the lives of at least 6,400 individuals, and the grim count of those missing stands at a staggering 10,000, a number that continues to grow.
In response to this disaster, our campaign mission is to provide urgently needed relief to the beleaguered regions of Eastern Libya and extend a helping hand to those in dire need during these challenging times.
