The disaster has left many families homeless and struggling to access basic necessities such as food, clean water, and medical care.

As Muslims, it is our responsibility to care for those in need, especially during times of crisis. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasized the importance of supporting orphans and survivor families, saying, "I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be in Paradise like these two," and he gestured with his forefinger and middle finger, holding them apart. [Bukhari]

Additionally, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Whoever relieves a believer's distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter" [Muslim]
