IIDAC also runs street dawah programmes, mosque tours, skills training for reverts and more community-centred activities
Campaign Story
This is not an ordinary zakat-eligible campaign. Get rewarded, in more ways than one! As a means of further encouragement to give zakat, GlobalSadaqah will plant *ONE TREE on their behalf for every zakat amounting to MYR 500 and above!
*The tree/s will be planted in a reforestation site at the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary, Sabah, Malaysia.
The Campaign
IIDAC (International Islamic Information and Daawah Center) was formed in 2002 by Muhammad Micheal bin Abdullah in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia with the aim of spreading the message of Islam to non-Muslim tourists and Muslims in general.
One of their flagship programmes is the Jalinan Kasih initiative, which translates to "bond of love" in English, where 200 - 300 food packs are given out daily to the needy in Kota Bharu, Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
Each food run is coupled with a short reminder (tazkirah) session before the food is distributed, further enhancing the dawah element of their ecosystem.
Community outreach
As part of their efforts to serve the community, IIDAC also runs street dawah programmes, mosque tours, skills training for reverts and more. IIDAC relies entirely on donations, funds and voluntary support for all missionary and management activities. Let us support IIDAC's effort in benefiting the community at large. Every contribution from all of you means the world to the receiver.
