Campaign Story
For many families, Eid al-Adha is a time of togetherness, gratitude, and celebration. Homes are filled with food, loved ones gather, and the spirit of sacrifice brings communities closer together.
But for many poor and struggling families in parts of Malaysia, Eid can feel very different. With rising living costs and financial hardship affecting low-income households, many families are struggling just to meet their daily food needs. Meat, which is often taken for granted during Eid, becomes something they rarely have access to throughout the year.
Through this Qurban campaign by Malaysian Relief Agency, your sacrifice will directly benefit poor and needy families in Selangor, ensuring they too can experience the blessings and joy of Eid. Your Qurban is more than an act of worship. It is a relief for a struggling household. It is a dignity for a family facing hardship. It is an opportunity for children and parents to sit together and enjoy a proper meal during Eid.
All Qurban will be carried out according to proper Islamic principles, with the meat carefully distributed to verified beneficiaries within the local community.
Even if you have already fulfilled your Qurban elsewhere, you can still contribute towards feeding vulnerable families and spreading the blessings of Eid to those who need it most.
The Prophetic Promise
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “The best of deeds is making a believer happy, such as satisfying his hunger or fulfilling his need.” (Tabarani)
