Clinics operate with limited resources, damaged infrastructure, and overwhelming numbers of patients seeking treatment. For thousands of displaced families, access to even the most basic medical care has become uncertain.

According to the World Health Organization and UN humanitarian agencies, Gaza’s healthcare system has been pushed to the brink due to ongoing conflict, shortages of medical supplies, and damaged facilities. Many hospitals and health centres are struggling to maintain essential services while treating large numbers of wounded patients and displaced civilians.

Behind every statistic is a person in urgent need of care. A father injured while trying to secure food for his family. A mother who has travelled long distances with her sick child in search of treatment. An elderly person whose chronic illness has worsened because medicine is no longer available.

In the early months of this project, your generosity already made a tangible difference. During the previous phase, vital humanitarian support was delivered to displaced families across Gaza, and three health centres were renovated and maintained. These centres became lifelines for communities facing immense hardship, allowing doctors and nurses to continue treating patients despite severe constraints. But the need continues to grow.

This next phase focuses on expanding the reach of medical care to more communities. Ten centres across the Gaza Strip will be supported with trained medical and nursing teams, along with essential medicines and spare parts needed to keep life-saving equipment functioning.

These centres will provide medical examinations, treatment, and follow-up care for approximately 3,000 displaced and wounded individuals who would otherwise struggle to access healthcare.
