Campaign Story

Over the past months, the low poverty line has had a damaging effect on vulnerable populations in Afghanistan. Poverty and the economic crisis keep life-giving food out of reach for many children and their communities.
 
Many of those who were already relying on humanitarian assistance are now experiencing a greater struggle to access life-saving services such as food supplies. Hunger should not take any more lives, especially orphans and children living in poverty.
 
This campaign will benefit orphans and needy children working on the streets.
 
It will help us to rebuild lives by providing food baskets and cooked meal parcels for Iftar which will support the orphans to have a healthy life.
 
The food packs will include the necessary quantities of Ramadan items such as flour, oil, sugar, rice, beans, creams, dates, and other additional food items that are essential and can support unprivileged families who have no idea how they could have their meals during Ramadan.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “He who provides a fasting person something with which to break his fast with, will earn the same reward as the one who was observing the fast, without diminishing in any way the reward of the latter.” [Tirmidhi]
