Campaign Story

This is not an ordinary zakat-eligible campaign. Get rewarded, in more ways than one! As a means of further encouragement to give zakat, GlobalSadaqah will plant *ONE TREE on their behalf for every zakat amounting to MYR 500 and above!

*The tree/s will be planted in a reforestation site at the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary, Sabah, Malaysia.

The Campaign

Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Kelantan (PEKAYATIM) [Kelantan Orphans’ Welfare Organization] has embarked on a mission to raise funds to help those in need or affected due to the post-COVID 19 pandemic crisis and the resulting economic crisis. A basic food pack worth MYR 50 will be distributed to the underprivileged and needy in Kelantan, hence the name AMAL50.

The food pack consists of rice, cooking oil, soy sauce, sardine, salt, sugar etc, enough to cover their grocery expenses for at least 1-2 weeks or more.

RM50 will help us provide 1 box of food to a needy family. Your donation can lighten their kitchen expenses and relieve the burden of low-income families.

In order for us to continue this tremendous work that will benefit thousands of people, WE NEED YOUR HELP! We want you to join us to provide them and their families with the necessary supplies.

Below are the beneficiary categories that will be receiving the food box from PEKAYATIM :

– Families/Individuals who lost their jobs due to the pandemic

– The elderly who live by themselves

– Low-income families

– Single mothers

– Orphans
