Campaign Story

In a time where the pandemic has crippled millions, it takes strong values to continue helping others without expecting too much in return. As the number of COVID-19 cases have sky rocketed in the last few days, many places have to adhere with the mandatory disinfection procedures based on government regulations. For some, this might be a challenge to comply with.

#KamiKitaBantu is an initiative spearheaded by Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA), Min Qalby Foundation, Teepol Malaysia and Global Sadaqah. The #KamiKitaBantu campaign was first launched in December 2020, and distributions were made until March 2021. Among the beneficiaries are:
- 15 Hospitals in KL, Sabah, Penang, Johor and Negeri Sembilan
- 8 District Health Offices
- 4 State Civil Defence
- 6 fire and rescue offices
- 6 NGOs- for old folks, orphans, homeless and disabled.

With Malaysia Relief Agency (MRA) making a strong impact on the ground, Teepol will enhance the drive by providing premium surface disinfectant Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide(AHP), without compromising on the use of any bleaching products or its equivalent. AHP is recognized by KKM as one of the fastest contact time and safest disinfectant to combat infectious diseases.

There is an overwhelming request from state representatives indicating the need for more cleaning and disinfecting supplies. Medical resources such as ICUs, quarantine centres, beds are becoming inadequate, more make-shift resources are built and cleanliness on these facilities remains of utmost importance, to ensure a safe environment for medical employees and front-line workers.

This campaign aims to support MRA with their disinfectant drive to provide cleaning and disinfecting facilities to as many Covid-19 affected areas as possible across Malaysia. This is a brilliant opportunity for our donors wanting to do their part for helping Malaysia and supporting the front-liners to donate and make an impact on the ground. You can be a part of this campaign by donating as low as RM 10! Let’s do whatever we can to flatten the curve by staying home, adhering to official standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensure proper hygiene is practised at all times.

The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter. And whoever covers (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will cover (his faults) for him in the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother.' [Tirmidhi]
