Gift of Education: A Better Future for Refugee Children

• UAIM provides quality education for displaced Rohingya children.
• UAIM needs resources to improve the infrastructure of their learning centre, home to 200 children seeking a better future through education.
• The target donation for this campaign will help meet the rental and utility bills of the learning centre for one year.
• Donations will also be used for the distribution of food packs and necessities among underprivileged communities.

Campaign Story

Join us to help relieve the burdens of our Muslim children who are displaced.

Itthadul Madaris Al Arkaniah (United Arakan Institute Malaysia) a.k.a UAIM, has helped sheltered displaced children torn from their families. To date, more than 300 Rohingya refugee children are currently under their care.

UAIM also provides these children with quality education and necessities in hopes to give them a chance at a brighter future.

Today, UAIM is facing challenges maintaining its learning centre and meeting monthly rental and utility fees.

Through your donations, UAIM will be able to continue supporting our Muslim children by improving the infrastructure of the learning centre and allowing it to run for another year.

You will also be helping UAIM provide the children with the following vocational skills:

• Carpentry
• Sewing
• Refurbishing
• Welding
• Painting

A secondary aim of this campaign is to continue distributing food packs (including other necessities) to the underprivileged communities besides the Rohingya that are under the care of UAIM.

The Messenger of Allah (may upon him be peace) said:

“Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement.

And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter.

And whoever covers (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will cover (his faults) for him in the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother.”
