Campaign Story

Ittihadul Madaris Al Arkaniah (United Arakan Institute Malaysia-UAIM) provides refugee children that are stuck in limbo with the gift of quality education. UAIM is working relentlessly to help these refugee children and give them hope to have a better future. UAIM also helps the underserved communities by distributing food packs and other necessities. UAIM is working its best in order to improve the lifestyle of the refugees and underserved communities as well as underprivileged refugee children. The learning centre hosts 200 diverse refugee children studying there. The refugee children include children from the Rohingya community, Myanmar Muslim, Indonesian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Yemeni origin. Donations to this campaign will help cover the rental and utilities of the learning center for one year. The students are further geared towards a sustainable life by providing with various skills and vocational trainings such as carpentry, sewing, refurbishing, welding, and painting. With the blessed month of Ramadan entering, we ask our donors to lend a helping hand and gift these children a gift of education and empowerment. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter. And whoever covers (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will cover (his faults) for him in the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother.' [Tirmidhi] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RmB4meO9FQ
