Update:
At United Arakan Institute Malaysia (UAIM), our commitment to enriching the lives of 130 refugee children, most of whom are Rohingya, has been bolstered by your invaluable support. The establishment of our computer lab has launched a new era of digital literacy, with students starting on Microsoft Office skills, setting them on a path toward future opportunities in graphic design and beyond.
Your generous donations have sustained our boarding school's fundamental needs—covering the essentials such as rent, utilities, teacher salaries, and ensuring our educational mission proceeds unhindered. This support has been pivotal, providing our students with a stable environment conducive to learning and growth.
Beyond the classroom, we've embraced agricultural self-sufficiency by growing crops that now supply half of our daily food requirements, fostering a healthy diet enriched with organic produce. This holistic approach extends to equipping each child with school uniforms, books, and covering transportation costs for six months—removing financial barriers to their education. Your contributions have been the cornerstone of these transformative changes, and we are profoundly grateful for your partnership in this journey of empowerment.

Let's start with just MYR 5 and help provide the gift of education to our young refugee brothers and sisters. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter. And whoever covers (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will cover (his faults) for him in the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother.” [Tirmidhi]
