Water for Gaza: Lifesaving Drinking Water for Displaced Families (Phase 2)

Key Points:

Severe Water Crisis: Gaza's 17-year blockade has led to a catastrophic water crisis, with only 4.74 liters of water available per person per day since October 7, 2023.
Destruction of Infrastructure: The destruction of wells and desalination plants has left large areas, including Gaza City and Khan Yunis, without safe water, worsening an already dire situation.
Urgent Campaign: The campaign aims to raise $44,220 (MYR 193, 530) to provide 8,000-liter water tanks to displaced families in camps, ensuring access to essential drinking water, cooking, and hygiene.

In Phase 1, thanks to your support, we were able to:

Distribute 5,397 liters of clean water, easing the suffering of families who often go days without safe drinking water.
Construct 4 new wells, expanding access to clean water in areas where scarcity is a daily challenge.
Repair and rehabilitate 5 wells, restoring vital water supplies to vulnerable neighborhoods.

Now, in Phase 2, our focus is on displaced families living in camps and tents, where the need is most urgent. These families, already struggling to meet their most basic needs, are in desperate need of safe and reliable access to water.

We are urgently seeking to raise USD 44,220 (MYR 193,530) to provide 8,000-liter water tanks across six camps. These tanks will ensure families have access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and hygiene—bringing dignity and relief to thousands in crisis.

Finally, Clean Water Has Reached Families in Gaza!

Assalamualaikum,

After weeks of thirst and uncertainty, families in Gaza finally received something so simple — yet so life-saving: clean water.

Thanks to your generosity, our partner’s clean water truck has successfully reached communities on the ground.

* 12,000 liters of clean water were distributed in Northern Gaza
* 12,000 liters of clean water were distributed in Southern Gaza

For families who’ve been struggling to access even a sip of clean water, this is more than just a delivery. It’s hope. It’s relief. It’s life.

The Ceasefire In Gaza Is Fragile! But Our Trucks Are Still Getting Through!

The ceasefire in Gaza is quite shaky, but aid trucks are still managing to get in. Alhamdulilah, our trucks have also entered Gaza - bringing hope, water, and warmth to families who had almost nothing left!

Across Gaza, families are fighting to meet their most basic needs, and your support has reached them just in time.

1. 27,000 liters of fresh water were distributed in Khan Younis, bringing relief to 1,450 families — around 8,700 peoplewho had endured days without safe water.
2. Warm vegetable soup and fresh bread bundles filled empty stomachs, reaching 557 families — approximately 3,342 lives touched.
3. 20 shopping vouchers through the 4epay platform supported 120 people with a month’s worth of essential needs — giving them the freedom to choose what their families truly need.
